We will have small stages as well, each and every locator in Lifestyle will have their own commissioned parties emphasizing on the diversity of music. Choose your poison.

Dominating a cold and rainy night filled with some musical showcase and star-studded guests, Sky Bar had its VIP Night last August 18, 2017 at the Cagayan Town Center, Cagayan de Oro City.

Opening the event is a series of sultry song renditions from Kagay-anon band Jenzpeak with DJ Kitty G and DJ Mark handling the music remixes warming up a cold night and to entertain the guests and visitors as well.

A flair show added up to the excitement as each performer flipped and tossed bottles of drinks in  agreement with the expressed appreciation from the audience.

The candidates of the Miss Cagayan de Oro 2017 also graced the event and other local celebrities and personalities like Sky Bar endorser Laurren Go.

Cagayan Town Center Brand and Marketing Officer and of the MC’s in the event, R-Funk, said that the event served as an introduction of what Sky Bar can offer to Kagay-anons and to the city as well.

The continuous raining did not stop Kagay-anons as well as excited visitors from other parts of the country and of the world from enjoying a night  jampacked with music and full of partying in the first ever Prohibition: A Music and Food Festival launching at the Lifestyle District, Corrales Street at Cagayan de Oro City last August 26, 2017.

When the gates opened as early as 3 in the afternoon, Lifestyle District was eventually swarmed with party people or ordinary individuals who just wanted to spend the night hanging out with friends and loved ones.

It was a bit late when the party started due to the heavy rain, making some to feel discouraged and speculated that the party would not push through. However, when everybody saw that the rain ceased to pour, it immediately arrived at the organizers to open the merrymaking by bombing the dance floor with foam which was followed by people rushing towards the center to get wet and wild and be carried away with the inviting groove of the music.

As soon as the DJ’s and MC’s started to spin the music and arousing the audience with their powerful voices, the crowd got even more psyched and pumped up.

Balloons and confetti also surrounded the dance floor while many took pictures and selfies.

DJ’s who put life to the night with their music remixes were RB Banaag (DJ RB), Kyle Christian Banaag (DJ Kyle), Issa Ramos, Khai Lim, DJ Gino V, DJ Ashley, Kat DJ, and Tom Taus. Also, hyping up the crowd were emcees Bboi Alaba, R-Funk Ilaya, and Marga on the Mic. Also gracing the party with her powerful voice was Pilipinas Got Talent Season Grand Finalist Muriel Lomadilla.

The music went on until 12 midnight and it was evident on the faces of the people that they indeed had the best time of their lives which they will be cherishing in the coming years and until the next Higalaay Festival to come.

Another party event that Cagayan de Oro has witnessed over the weekend is the annual Higalaay Street Festival Year 3 last August 26, 2017 at CDO Bar, Rotunda in Cagayan de Oro City.

Aside from the merrymaking and the imbibing the higalaay vibes, the proceeds of the event will also go to the affected families of the ongoing crisis in Marawi City.

When the rain insisted to pour the people at CDO Bar did not make it a reason to put the party on halt since it came handy knowing that it is a wet and wild foam party.

Giving life to the party with their creative music remixes are DJ Red, Miss J, DJ Yuuki, DJ Cathy Frey. The event also had DJ Garuda hailing from the Netherlands and DJ Robbie J who was originally from the US.

Completing the list of persons adding to the list of powerhouse personalities were MCs Zane and Paul the Panda. Heating up the ambiance of the cold night was the colorful display of fireworks and fire dancing.

Indeed, all is still well in CdeO as the party did not stop until it is already 2 in the morning. The event proved that there is no stopping the City of Golden Friendship from making another dent in history that despite the current issues that our society is facing, there are innumerable reasons to keep our heads up and be happy.
